Join a Friend - Terms and Conditions - October/November 2024

To be in with a chance of winning this competition you must complete at least one of the following to automatically be entered:

This promotion is only available to friends who join online, for in-club joining current member must be present at time of new member joining.

The competition starts at 00:01 on 1st October 2024 and closes at 23:59 on 30th November 2024. Entrants must be 18 years or over and be UK resident. The winner will be drawn at random from all eligible entries by an independent person at Bannatyne Head Office, Darlington on or after 1st December 2024 and the winner will be contacted thereafter. 

Prize package for 2 adults includes:

·         Airfare: Return flights from London, UK to Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

·         Prize is for 2 adults;

·         The Winner must travel at the same time with the same itinerary;

·         At least one traveller must be aged 21 or over; Anyone under 18 will require parent or guardian permission prior to travel;

·         Economy flights from major international airports in London only (inclusive of all applicable airport taxes, fees, and duties) to Las Vegas; Flights may be indirect and not all routings will be available; Flight itinerary will be selected by prize provider at their sole discretion;

·         Travel arrangements, including costs relating to public transport, fuel or parking, to and from the winner or companion/s’ home and London departure airport do not form part of the prize and are the responsibility of the winner and their travelling companion/s;

·         A valid credit or debit card will be required for security deposit purposes when checking into accommodation;

·         Accommodation is based on 2 adults sharing a double occupancy room at a 4-star hotel in Las Vegas;

·         Accommodation will be selected by the prize provider at their sole discretion;

·         Accommodation for the Winner does not include any meals, incidentals, gratuities, or telephone calls. Any other personal expenses incurred during the trip will be the responsibility of the Winner;

·         The prize excludes meals and drinks, excursions, attractions, treatments, visas, personal expenses and anything not expressly stated in the prize package;

·         All elements of the prize are subject to availability; If unavailable, experiences and items of a similar nature and value may be offered at prize provider’s discretion;

·         Winners must contact prize provider with three preferred travel dates in three separate months no later than six weeks prior to departure;

·         Travel insurance is subject to restrictions and the terms and conditions of the insurance provider. It is the responsibility of the winner and/or their companions to meet any additional costs relating to obtaining insurance cover for any pre-existing medical condition and for any additional costs as may be specified where the winner and/or their companions are aged 70 or over;

·         All elements of the prize must be taken at the same time;

·         Once booked, the prize cannot be amended or cancelled;

·         Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable; No cash alternative is available;

·         All travellers will require a passport valid for at least 6 months on date of travel; any necessary visas or additional insurance are the responsibility of the winner and guests;

·         The prize cannot be taken from 21st December – 4th January (Christmas and New Year), over UK public holidays, or over Easter Sunday;

·         Prize is valid for 12 months from the date of notification of winning, and all travel must be completed within that time;

·         For the horseback ride, the minimum age is 7 years old, a maximum weight may apply and will be advised upon booking; it is not suitable for those who are pregnant or have neck, back or heart conditions;

·         For the helicopter tour, the minimum age is 2 years old, passengers weighing between 250 Lbs (112 kg/17.9 stone) and 375 Lbs (170 kg/26.5 stone) will be required to purchase an additional seat. This is payable directly to the tour operator on the day of the tour. Note that the maximum allowable body weight on the helicopter is 375 Lbs (170 kg/26.5 stone); all passengers must present a valid government ID upon check-in; it is not suitable for those who are pregnant or have neck, back or heart conditions;

·         For the 3-wheel motorcycle ride, the minimum age for the driver 25 years old, the minimum age for the passenger is 16 years old; it is not suitable for those who are pregnant or have neck, back or heart conditions;

·         For the supercar experience, the minimum age is 18 years old; a valid driver’s license is required; it is not suitable for those who are pregnant or have neck, back or heart conditions; Additional requirements relating to height and weight may apply and will be advised upon booking;

·         The buffet dining experience is provided for a maximum of 90-minutes, the exact inclusions may vary and will be advised; 

·         The Prize Provider is Element London Ltd. Any personal data submitted by the winner to the Prize Provider will be treated in accordance with Prize Provider’s privacy policy, which is accessible at https://element-london.com/element-london-privacy-policy-travel-english/   

·       By entering into the competition, entrants and winner(s) forever and irrevocably agree to indemnify and release promoter and Columbia Tristar Marketing Group Inc and its affiliates from any and all liability in connection with the competition and any prizing in connection therewith.

·       The Bannatyne Group and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law. Each prize winner and their guests assume all risks inherent to winning the offered prizes.

·       By entering, you agree that if you win, you will participate, for no additional fee, in any reasonable publicity arranged by the Promoter, its agents or suppliers.

·       By entering, you agree that any personal information provided by you with the Competition entry may be held and used only by the Promoter or its agents and suppliers to administer the Competition and for the fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the Prize or other purposes set out in these Terms and Conditions.

·       In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion or the awarding of prizes, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these terms and conditions, at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.

·       The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any participant or user that the Promoter reasonably believes (i) to have tampered with the operation of the Competition and/or (ii) to be acting in violation of these Terms & Conditions.

·       This promotion and these terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England.
