Join a Friend – terms and conditions
To join a friend, you must be an existing Bannatyne member. When your friend joins a Bannatyne health club online, they must enter your email address into the “Member Referral” section of the online application form. There is no maximum number of friends that you can join. Friends must be aged 16 or over. We will receive your email address from your friend as part of the join online process. By referring your friend, you agree for us to receive your email address in this way. This promotion is only available to friends who join online.
The promoter is Bannatyne Fitness Limited, Power House, Darlington, DL1 1ST. This promotion ends at 23:59 on 31 January 2023. By referring a friend, you are accepting these terms and conditions. The promotion is not open to employees of the Bannatyne Group (including its subsidiaries) or their immediate family members.
For each of your referred friends who become a member on or before 23:59 on 31 January 2023, you will be entered into a competition to win a First Choice £5,000 Holiday voucher to spend towards the holiday of your choice. To see the terms and conditions for this competition, please see below.

Join a Friend - Win £5,000 towards a First Choice holiday
By joining a friend during the Refer a Friend promotion, for each friend who becomes a Bannatyne member on or before 23:59 on 31 January 2023, you will be entered into a competition to win £5,000 toward a First Choice holiday. Entrants must be 18 years or over. Both the existing member and the new member will be entered into the prize draw. If you do not wish to be entered into the competition, please let us know at the time of referring a friend.
There is no limit to the number of entries into the competition, however, we shall reserve the right to disqualify any entry if, in our reasonable opinion, we believe that the entrant has submitted an excessive number of entries. Responsibility will not be accepted for entries lost, delayed, mislaid or damaged. Incomplete, damaged or illegible entries, or those entries that are not in accordance with these terms will be disqualified.
The competition is not open to employees of the Bannatyne Group (including its subsidiaries) or their immediate family members. The competition organiser is Bannatyne Fitness Limited, Power House, Haughton Road, Darlington, Co Durham DL1 1ST with registered company number 03287770 (“Bannatyne”). Any notices required to be given in relation to this competition should be sent to this address.
The prize will be drawn at random from all eligible entries by an independent person at Bannatyne Head Office, Darlington on or after 1st February 2023 and we will contact the winner as soon as possible thereafter. If the winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable time, or the winner does not meet the eligibility requirements (or these terms and conditions), it may result in forfeiture of the prize (without further liability to that entrant) and a new winner will be drawn. The name of the winner will also be made available on request in writing to Bannatyne Fitness Limited, Power House, Haughton Road, Darlington, Co Durham DL1 1ST.
The prize is £5,000 toward a First Choice holiday. There is no cash equivalent prize, the prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and only one prize is available. Entry to the competition constitutes your acceptance of these terms and conditions and his/her agreement to be bound by them. If these terms and conditions are not accepted in full, then you should not enter this competition. Any winner will also be bound by the First Choice terms & conditions and in respect of any purchases made using the prize, any First Choice rules (where appropriate).
Bannatyne reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions and the prize at any time. If there is any dispute about an entry or any other aspect of the competition, this will be decided by Bannatyne. Bannatyne’s decisions in relation to this competition (whether or not covered by these terms and conditions) shall, once made, be final and binding. No further correspondence will be entered into.
The winner agrees to participate in reasonable post-competition publicity, which may include publication of his/her name and photos on Bannatyne marketing, social media, Bannatyne’s website or other marketing literature. By entering, you acknowledge that Bannatyne may use your data in this way.
