Press up challenge for charity by Chester le Street member

Adam Nairn, a member at our Chester le Street health club has challenged himself to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

He initially challenged himself to complete 3,000 press-ups before increasing it to 5,000.  

Adam said: “I'm trying to raise funds to help the Teenage Cancer Trust care for young people who are sadly diagnosed with cancer. The money raised will help towards providing dedicated staff and facilities to support these young people throughout their treatment.

“As a father of three, I couldn't imagine how scared they (and me) would be if any of them were diagnosed with cancer. I'd want to do everything in my power to make
sure they got the support they needed so that they could recover and live their lives to the full. 

“I know times are hard for everyone at the minute, but even the smallest donation would help the Teenage Cancer Trust provide this essential support.”
