Peterborough member, Teresa (accompanied by her friend, Karen) has taken part in an epic 192-mile Coast to Coast walk.
After many months of training and planning, they walked from St Bees on the West Cumbrian coast to Robin Hoods Bay on the East Yorkshire coast. The challenge was to do this on their own walking across the Lake District, the York Moors and the Yorkshire Dales with no guide, just maps and newly acquired knowledge of how to read a map and compass, this took place over 14 days from 8th July 2022.
Teresa said: “Being two Lincolnshire ladies in our 60's, who have known each other since we were 5 years old. We were very much looking forward to the challenge together and raised much-needed funds for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.
“We funded the trip ourselves, so everything we raised will go to our chosen charity. So, if you would like to sponsor us it would be very much appreciated.”
